We have scheduled Emergency maintenance for IOTCHG-11316/ IOTDCS-2252 - SMSC AMS Install Software Patch.
Maintenance window: 2026-09-21 from 19.00 to 23.00 CEST.
Impact: Service Affecting and Loss of Redundancy Please note that SMPP binds for SMSC accounts on the Central AMS SMSC will experience a brief disconnection of approximately 10 minutes, within the impact window of 19:00 CEST to 20:30 CEST on September 21st. This will result in a impact on SMPP binds on the Amsterdam SMSC. SMSC STO remains unaffected by this maintenance, and binds can be proactively migrated there to prevent any service disruption.
Customer action may be required during or after this maintenance:: Please migrate your SMPP binds to the STO SMSC prior to the scheduled activity to prevent any disruption to your traffic. If binds are not moved to STO prior to the maintenance activity, they will be dropped from AMS, which will cause any SMSC traffic over those binds to fail.
Reason for maintenance: SW upgrade SMSC AMS install software patch.
Worst-case scenario: Loss of redundancy.
